Do(s) and Don’t(s) Of Online Learning

Do(s) and Don’t(s) Of Online Learning

Teaching and learning online might be a novel and exciting experience for you. We are grateful to have you with us. To facilitate a session that is both efficient and enjoyable for all, the MST Engagement Team has curated a series of friendly reminders.

For Tutors

Do

          1. Be punctual

            – One of the biggest perks of teaching on MST is time saved. Be punctual to earn more time for rest (and more teaching).

          2. Be appropriately dressed
            – No need for fancy attire but do look smart!

          3. Be prepared to support learning with positive feedback and additional resources
            – We are all endeavouring to make learning easier. Let’s give our students the best.

Don’t

          1. Be afraid to seek assistance if you need. Our helpful customer service team is here for you.
            – Email us at info@mysavvytutor.com or drop us a call at +65 9670 7326

          2. Proceed without a lesson plan (unless it is an ad hoc learning request)
            – Your students are eager to learn from you. And I am sure you are up to the challenge to stretch their learning. Planning for their progress will go a long way!

          3. Post anything that may cause distress and offence to your students, or their parents.
            – We encourage parties to settle any disputes in a constructive manner. Do come to us for help if you experience any unhappiness (we sincerely hope not!).

          2. Be appropriately dressed and choose a place with reliable internet connection
            – Maximise your comfort in your casual attire. And a stable wifi connection will make your learning all the more seamless.

          3. Be prepared to ask (many) questions
            – You are learning from the best, so don’t hold back. Get all the help you need!
